Hi there!

My name is Paola, but I like to be called Pao. I am a Digital Product Designer and an aspiring Creative Technologist, that was born and raised in Mexico City but is now residing in New York City, pursuing my creative aspirations for an education and a career.

I've had many different experiences with art in my life, ranging from worldbuilding and illustration to several styles of dance, which has majorly inspired my approach to design. I am fascinated by the way user-centered design experiences can become immersive, interactive and above all, be practical and genuinely useful. New tools and technologies are always super exciting to explore, as they can help me find better solutions to the problems we experience day to day!

When I am not working, you can most often find me exploring my passion for storytelling. Depending on the mood, that could take the form of Dungeons & Dragons, playing RPG’s or even reading fantasy novels! I am always excited to open a new story and create or interact with immersive worlds, and exploring all the juicy possibilities they have to offer.
